The Mareeba Shire Council is the local authority for the management and maintenance of our community assets, locations and the care of our population of over 22,000 people.
Mareeba Shire Council covers towns and districts including Kuranda, Koah, Speewah, Biboohra, Mt Molloy, Julatten, Mt Carbine, Mutchilba, Dimbulah, Irvinebank, Watsonville, Almaden and Chillagoe.
Council manages libraries, animal welfare, aged care services, youth services, health and welfare, maternal child health and kindergarten, to name a few.
Our friendly team also organise a rage of events throughout the year that are free for our community to attend and enjoy.
